1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup applesauce
1 3/4 cup flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
Topping:
1/2 cup sugar mixed with 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time until light and fluffy. Beat in applesauce. Stir together flour and baking powder. Add to butter mixture; stir just enough to moisten. Spoon into 18 regular muffin cups, or 36 tea sized muffin cups.(greased or lined with paper) Bake at 425 degrees about 15 minutes or until golden brown. While warm, dip tops or all sides into melted butter and in cinnamon and sugar mixture.
