1 pkg. angel food cake mix
1 c. chilled whipping cream
1 tsp. almond extract
1 can (13 1/2 oz.) pineapple tidbits, drained
1 box instant vanilla pudding, prepared (you can use cook kind or make your own)
Toasted slivered almonds
Chopped Maraschino cherries, drained

Bake cake as directed and cool. In chilled bowl, beat cream until stiff. Fold whipped cream, extract, and pineapple into pudding. Cut cake into cubes. Place 1/3 of whipped cream-pudding mixture over cake cubes. Repeat twice. Chill at least 3 hours. Just before serving garnish with almonds and cherries. Note - I sometimes add cherries to filling.
