2 yeast cakes
1/2 c. warm water
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. scaled milk
1/3 c. shorting, melted
1/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, well beaten
4 to 5 c. unsifted flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix yeast, warm water and sugar together and let stand for 20 minutes. Combine milk, melted shorting, sugar and salt and heat to scalding. Cool milk mixture. Add eggs and yeast to cooled milk. Add flour and mix well. Put in refrigerator over night. 2 hours before baking take out, knead and let rise. Roll out for rolls. Bake at 425 for 10 minutes.
