Mix 1 -
1 c flour
3/4 c uncooked oatmeal
1 c brown sugar
1/2 c melted butter or margarine
1 tsp cinnamon

Mix 2 -
1 c white sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 c water
2 tbsp corn starch

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the ingredients for Mix 2 over low heat until thick and clear. While that is cooking, make a crumble mix of ingredients in Mix 1. Spread 1/2 of Mix 1 in greased 9" pan, top with 4 cups sliced apples, pour cooked Mix 2 over apples and top with remaining crumble mixture.

Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
