2 cups sifted self rising flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 egg
1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled
2/3 cup milk

Topping: 1/4 c sugar & 1 tsp cinnamon

Preheat oven to 425

Grease muffin pans or line them with muffin cups.

Combine flour, sugar, and cinnamon in mixing bowl; set aside. In another bowl, beat egg; stir in butter and milk. Add liquid ingredients all at once to flour mixture. Stir only until flour is moistened. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake about 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove muffins from pan. Dip tops of warm muffins in 1/4 cup melted butter and then in cinnamon sugar mixture.
