2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
5 eggs
2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 Tablespoons vanilla extract
2 cups (12 oz.) semisweet chocolate morsels
1 quart half and half
1 quart heavy cream or whipped cream
3/4 cup (about) milk

Directions:
Directions:
Whisk the sugar, 1/2 cup milk, eggs and flour in a double boiler until blended. Cook over simmering water until thickened, whisking frequently. Remove from the heat and add the vanilla and chocolate,stirring until the chocolate melts. Cool for 5 minutes. Pour the chocolate mixture into 1-gallon ice cream freezer container and add the half and half and cream. Add just enough of 3/4 cup milk to reach the fill and freeze using the manufacturer's directions.
