1 cup shortening
1 cup powdered sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
Dash of salt
2 1/4 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together. Take out half of mixture and add red food coloring. Roll into length, twist white and red dough into canes. Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes.
