1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup cherry juice
1 small bottle cherries, chopped
1 cup walnuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients in order given. Pour into well greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 for about 1 hour.
