Red peppers
Cherry or grape tomatoes
Black olives (sliced)
Romano cheese (grated)
Bread crumbs
Olive oil
Garlic
Capers
Fresh basil
Fontina (or other white) cheese
Salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cut the peppers lengthwise, creating two equal parts. Place in casserole dish. Cut tomatoes in half and set aside. In a bowl add the Romano cheese, sliced olives, bread crumbs, olive oil, garlic, capers, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well, adding a little of the juice from the olives if too dry. Cover the bottom of each pepper with the mixture, followed by a fresh basil leaf, slices of Fontina cheese, more olives and the tomatoes until full. Cover with slices of Fontina cheese. Bake in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes or until browned.
