1 lb hamburger
1 (14 oz) pkg macaroni and cheese dinner
1 pkg taco seasoning
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup sour cream
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 cup salsa
1/2 cup crushed tortilla chips, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Make macaroni and cheese as directed on the package. Stir in sour cream. BRown hamburger and drain. Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 8 minutes. Spoon half the macaroni and cheese into an 8" pan. Top with meat mixture and 1 cup cheese, Top with the rest of the macaroni and cheese mixture. Cover and bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and top with salsa, remaining cheddar cheese and, if desired, the tortilla chips. Bake uncovered for 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Makes 6 - 1 cup servings.
