Crust:
1 c. flour
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)


Filling:
2 egg whites
2/3 c. sugar
2 T. lemon juice
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries partially
thawed

Directions:
Directions:
Crust directions: Mix together and spread evenly in a 9 x 13 pan. Bake for 15 minutes at 350. Crumble with fork. Take out 1/4 cup of crumbs for topping. Chill crust while preparing filling.

Filling directions: Combine above ingredients in a large mixing bowl & beat with electric mixer at high speed for 10 minutes until thick & high. Fold in 8 oz. carton of cool whip. Spread over crust & top with remaining crumbs. Freeze for 6 hours.
