2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 stick of butter
1/4 t. salt
1/4 c. baking cocoa (unsweetened)
3 c. instant oatmeal (1 minute oats)
1 t. vanilla flavoring
1/2 c. crunchy peanut butter

Directions:
Directions:
Boil sugar, milk, butter, salt and cocoa together for 1 minute. Add 1 t. vanilla flavoring. Quickly stir in 3 cups of 1 minute oatmeal and 1/2 c. crunchy peanut butter; stirring constantly. Mix well.

Remove from heat. Drop a tablespoonful for each cookie onto wax paper. Try to leave enough space so they do not run together. Let cool and serve.

Comment: DO NOT use "old fashioned" oats as they will never cook in this short time frame.
