1 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup water
4 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Measure flour, stir in salt. Bring shortening and water to a boil in a sauce pan over medium heat. Add blended dry ingredients quickly. Beat constantly until mixture leaves sides of pan and forms a ball. Remove mixture from heat and cool slightly.
Add eggs one at a time, beat until smooth.
Drop by heaping tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 400 for 40-45 minutes. Cool.
Remove the top (cut them in half). Fill with cream filling, ice cream, fruit filling, or whipped cream. Serve with a drizzle of chocolate sauce over top, or sprinkled with powdered sugar.
Yields 1 dozen puffs.
