chicken cut up into frying pieces
1 qt buttermilk
hot sauce to taste
seasoning of choice (i use a salt/pepper blend)
seasoned flour

oil for frying

Directions:
Directions:
put chicken in ziplock bag, season with salt and pepper, add buttermilk and hot sauce (do not be afraid to add, it will not be hot). Let soak for 2-3 hours.
when ready to fry fill pot half full of oil and heat to 350.
Pour off buttermilk and dredge in seasoned flour.
Fry in hot oil.
White meat takes 8-10 mins, Dark meat takes 13-14

Frying chicken is time consuming, but when you see Jon eating it as quick as he can, it makes all the sweat worth it.
