1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup white sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 T. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
20 marshmallows, cut in half

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs; beat well. Add dry ingredients, mixing thoroughly. Add vanilla. Spread in greased 9 X 13" pan. Bake at 350 for 15 min. Then add 20 marshmallows, cut in half, and return to oven for about 3 min., or until they are soft. Cool. Frost.

Frosting:
1/2 cup brown sugar.
1/4 cup water
2 oz. chocolate or Choco-bake
3 T. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Combine brown sugar, water, and chocolate; bring to boil. Cook 3 min. Add butter and vanilla. Cool about 15 minutes. Blend in powdered sugar. Spread over marshmallow topping. Cut into bars.

If frosting gets too thick, add a FEW drops water. If it is too thin, add more powdered sugar.
