2 strips bacon
1 cup onion
1 tbsp flour
1/4 cup water
1 can green beans, drained, reserving liquid
1/2 cup bean liquid
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tbsp sugar
salt and pepper to taste

Brown bacon until crisp; remove bacon from pan.

Saute onion in bacon grease. Stir in flour; add liquids, sugar and seasoning. Bring to a boil.

Stir in beans. Cook until hot. Top with bacon bits.
