2 cups all purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup finely snipped chives or Italian parsley
1 cup milk
1 1/2 cups (6 oz) finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Grease baking sheet. In large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Use a pastry blender to cut in butter until forms fine crumbs. Add cheese and herbs; stir. Add milk; stir just to moisten. Drop batter by fork into 12 - 14 mounds on baking sheet. Bake 400 for 15 - 20 minutes until lightly browned. Serve warm.
