According to Sherry Green (MarMar):
It's 3 cups water and 1 1/2 cups sugar boiled until sugar dissolves. Then add 1/2 cup lime juice (I add a little lemon). Put in ice bath for 15 minutes. Then put in 9X13 baking dish and put in freezer for 1 1/2 hours. Scrape to redistribute ice particles then return to freezer for another 1 1/2 hours. Scrape to serve. It's easy and quite delicious.
