2 t baking powder
1 c sugar
1 stick oleo
3/4 c milk
pinch salt
Dewberries or Peaches

Directions:
Directions:
Place oleo in baking dish in the stove to melt
Mix flour, sugar, salt, b powder, & milk
Pour batter over the butter
Place the fruit over the batter
Bake @ 400

I can just smell the cobbler baking as we ran in and SLAMMED the back door! It was always best straight out of the oven in the summer soon after the berries had been picked!
