6-8 sweet potatoes
2 sticks (1 cup butter)
2 cup brown sugar, packed
salt to taste
1/2 cup Karo maple syrup
1 pkg. marshmallows

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sweet potatoes until done on cooktop. Peel and cut into chunks. In a 9 x 13 pan pour syrup and put in butter. Melt butter and stir in brown sugar. Place potatoes on mixture and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Sprinkle with marshmallows and place back in oven for a few minutes. Serve hot.

We eat lots of homegrown sweet potatoes baked, mashed and like this. They taste so good and are so good for you. Sweet potatoes are a very pretty crop to grow in you garden with there heart shaped leaves.
