1 c. corn meal
1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all dry ingredients together. Then add egg, buttermilk and water. Drop by spoonfull into hot grease. Fry to golden brown. If dropped into deep pot, hushpuppies should float when done.
