4 ounces bacon
1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 can (21 oz.) undrained pork and beans
1 can (16 oz.) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can butter beans, rinsed and drained
1 can green limas, rinsed and drained
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup catscup
1 T. vinegar
1 T. prepared mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon, drain. Brown beef with onion 'til cooked. Combine all ingredients. Bake, uncovered, at 325 degrees for an hour or until beans are as thick as desired. Recipe easily doulbles for a larger group. This can also be cooked and kept in a crockpot.

If I am using this as a vegetable dish I omit the hamburger and use a little more bacon. As it reads it is a great main course meal with green salad and hot crunchy bread.
