1 lb of fresh asparagus, olive oil, salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 400 degrees and place a sheet pan in oven to heat up. Remove woody ends of the asparagus and peel the bottom half of the stalk with potato peeler if skin is thick. Toss with just enough olive oil, salt, and pepper to lightly coat. Remove sheet pan from oven and arrange asparagus in single layer. Return to oven and cook 8 minutes, turn asparagus and cook another 8 minutes.
