1 cube butter or margarine
1 can evaporated milk
2 cups sugar
5-6 Tbsp cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and milk in saucepan over medium heat. Sift together or blend thoroughly the sugar and cocoa. Add to dry mix to saucepan, mix and bring to boil over medium high heat. Boil for 5 min. while continuously stirring.

Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Cool. It will thicken as it cools. Serve over ice cream.

Personal Note: This is a family favorite.
