Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1 c. soaked and cooked garbanzo beans
sm. Onion, diced
c. walnuts, chopped
c. tamari
c. water or bean juice
1 scallion chopped
1 T. Kuzu
Tofu Pesto
1 clove garlic, peeled
c. fresh basil leaves
1 lb. fresh tofu
1 tsp. olive oil
2 T. Parmesan cheese
Salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onions in water. Add walnuts and brown. Add beans, water and tamari. Simmer for five minutes. Thicken with Kuzu softened in a little water.Put everything in the blender and process until smooth. Serve with hot pasta
