Asparagus Flan Recipe

c. strong cheese, grated
c. margarine
1 T. flour

tsp. salt
1 egg
1 can asparagus, drain liquid into cup and add milk to fill cup
cup flour
1 T. butter
1 c. liquid ( asparagus water)
c. grated cheese
1 c. Bread crumbs
Pinch of cayenne pepper

Crust- mix cup strong cheese, cup flour and cup margarine and press into pie plate.

White Sauce- dissolve 1 tablespoon flour in mild cold. Bring to boil stirring and add other ingredients. Stir until smooth. Pour sauce into pie crust. Lay asparagus. Top with remainder of sauce. Sprinkle with grated cheese , bread crumbs and pinch of cayenne pepper. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
