1-1/2 cups margarine
2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1-1/2 cups molasses
1 tsp salt
5 cups flour
4 tsp baking soda
2 tsp ginger
2 tsp ground cloves
2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix margarine, sugar, eggs & molasses together. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Roll into 1'' balls and place on cookie sheet. Bake @ 350 for approx. 10 mins (better undercooked). Do not press with fork. Sprinkle with sugar right when removed from oven if desired.
