1 seedless orange, peeled, pith removed, coarsely chopped
1 apple of choice, cored and chopped

1 c. orange juice
2 T. superfine sugar (I omit this)
2 cans lemon lime soda ( I use diet)

Directions:
Directions:
Put fruit in a large pitcher. Add red wine, orange juice and sugar; stir. Refrigerate up to 24 hours. Add soda just before serving.

White Sangria
replace the apple with a white peach; add a few marchino cherries for color. Replace red wine with a white (pinot grigio works well). Add gingerale instead of lemon lime soda.
