On Day 2, preheat oven to 425
Takes two days.
Needs dry yeast.
Grease a cookie sheet.

Directions:

PUT INTO MIXING BOWL AND BLEND TOGETHER:
2 tsp. dry yeast
1 and 1/2 c. warm water

ADD:
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt

BLEND IN A LITTLE AT A TIME:
2 c. white flour
2 c. whole wheat flour

KNEAD DOUGH UNTIL IT IS SMOOTH. IT WILL TAKE 7 MIN.!

COVER BOWL WITH A PIECE OF PLASTIC WRAP. LABEL AND REFRIGERATE OVERNIGHT.

Day 2

PUNCH DOWN THE DOUGH IN THE BOWL. CUT DOUGH INTO 12 EQUAL PIECES. ROLL EACH INTO A LONG ROPE AND FORM INTO A PRETZEL SHAPE.

PLACE PRETZELS ON A GREASED COOKIE SHEET.

BRUSH EACH WITH BEATEN EGG. SPRINKLE WITH COARSE SALT OR SEASONED SALT.

BAKE FOR ABOUT 15 MIN. PLACE PRETZELS ON A RACK TO COOL.
