6 c. Popcorn, popped
1/2 c. Salted Peanuts
1 c. Shredded Coconut
1 c. Lt. Karo Syrup
1 c. Sugar
1/2 c. Light Cream
1/8 tsp. Salt
1 tbsp. Butter
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

Directions:
Directions:
Combine Popped Corn, Peanuts, and Coconut in a large bowl. Blend Syrup, Sugar, Cream & Salt in a sauce pan; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally to soft ball stage [238 degrees]. Remove from heat, stir in Butter and Vanilla Extract. Pour over Popcorn mixture and mix thoroughly. Press into a buttered 10" Tube Cake Pan. Let stand several hours until firm enough to slice. Gumdrop candies may be used to decorate top while it is still warm and not set up.

Jan - We also called this Grandpa's Popcorn Cake. It is a big kid pleaser - - can't wait to try it out on my grandchildren [the Great-Great grandchildren of Olav].
