1 cup sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 teaspoon nutmeg
cup of butter
cup canned pumpkin
cup evaporated milk
cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
tsp. salt
1 egg, well beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, cup sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt together into medium sized mixing bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles cornmeal. Combine egg with pumpkin and milk. Add egg mixture to dry ingredients, stirring just enough to mix lightly. Fill greased muffin pans or paper muffin cups, set in pans, 2/3 full. Sprinkle 14 teaspoon sugar over each muffin. Bake in 400 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until done and nicely browned.
