3 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup brown rice
3/4 cup lentils
1/2 tsp basil
3/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup grated cheese
1/2 lb hamburger, sausage or diced chicken (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all together in a casserole dish. Bake, uncovered, at 300 for 1 1/2 hours, uncovering the last 20 minutes. Put 1/2 cup grated cheese on top and heat until the cheese melts.
