2 C flour 1 T baking powder 1 t salt 1/3 c shortening 3/4 C milk
Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Mix in shortening with a fork or two knives. Add milk. Mix enough to wet dry ingredients. Drop dough from tablespoon on greased baking pan. Bake at 450º (very hot oven) 10 to 12 minutes until lightly browned.
