Ingredients:  
3 cups flour
4 TSR. baking powder
1 TSR. salt
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups milk
1 egg
2 tabs. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix and sift dry ingredients; add egg and milk mixed together . Add melted fat. Stir mixture until smooth. Have griddle well greased and hot. Drop batter on griddle by spoonfuls, allowing for spreading. When puffed and bubbles have broken on top, it should be evenly browned on the under side and is ready to be turned with a spatula.
