Pastry: two crust 9 inch pie

36 ritz crackers
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Butter or Margarine

Bake 425 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes

Put bottom crust into pie plate. Break crackers coarsely into lined pie plate. Combine water, sugar, cream of tartar in saucepan and boil gently for 15 minutes.

Add lemon juice and cool

Pour over crackers and dot generously with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon.
