1 pound ground beef
4 cups cubed and peeled potatoes
1 small onion, chopped
3 cans (8oz. each) tomato sauce
4 cups water
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef. Drain. Add potatoes, onion and tomato sauce. Stir in water, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for one hour.

This is an all time favorite that I usually make in the winter. I double it because it is good the next day as well. I love it because it is simple and so easy to make. I got this recipe from Alice Nicholson in Front Royal, Va.
