2 lbs. beef stew meat
1 large onion, sliced
4 stalks celery, diced
5 carrots, cut into chunks
5 potatoes, cut into chunks
1-1/2 tsp. salt
1 T. sugar
2 T. tapioca
1/2 c. vegetable (V8) juice

Put ingredients into a crock pot and cook until done.
