1 stick butter
1 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well and pour over sweetened cherries or other fruit in season. Bake at 400 degrees until golden brown. Cool.
May be topped with ice cream or whipped cream to serve.
