2 cups sugar
1 quart water
12 whole cloves
4 sticks cinnamon
2 tbsp chopped ginger or 1/4 tsp powdered ginger spice
4 allspice berries
3 cups orange juice
2 cups lemon juice
2 quarts apple cider

Directions:
Directions:
Boil sugar and water for 10 minutes. Add cloves, cinnamon, allspice, and ginger; let stand 1 hour. Strain. Add orange and lemon juices and cider. Bring to a boil and serve immediately. Makes 5 - 6 quarts.
