4 Cups flour mixed with 1-1/4 teaspoons salt
2-3/4 Tablespoons vegetable shortening
1-3/4 Cups hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Cut fat into flour mixture with two knives until mixture resembles bread crumbs. Stir in hot water to form a soft dough. On a flour board, knead dough until smooth. Cover with a warm, damp towel; rest for 10 minutes. Divide dough into 30 pieces and roll each out to a very thin circle. Stack and flour each. Heat a skillet and cook tortillas for 30 seconds, turn and cook 10 seconds. Stack a cover with a towel.
