1 pound butter (not margarine)
1 cup sugar
4 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Mix well with flour; spread on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake one hour at 275 degrees. Cut into bars as soon as shortbread is removed from the oven
