1/3 cup butter
1/4 to 1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 Tbsp cornstarch
4 medium apples, peeled, cored, and cut in half

Directions:
Directions:
In 10 inch skillet, melt butter over medium heat (3 to 4 minutes) Stir in sugar and cornstarch. mIx well. Add remaining ingredients, cover. Cool over medium heat spooning sauce over apples occassionally, until apples are fork tender and sauce is thickened. (12 to 15 minutes)

To serve: Place 2 apple halves in individual dessert dish and spoon 1/2 cup sauce over top.
