4 cups chopped broccoli flowerets
ice water
1/2 medium purple onion, thinly sliced & cut in half-moon slivers
1 cup green or red grape halves
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 head cauliflower, broken apart in bite-size pieces
1 box frozen English peas, thawed slightly
1 cup chopped pecans
12 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Crisp broccoli in ice water. Drain well. In large bowl combine broccoli, onion, grapes, cauliflower, peas, cheese, pecans and bacon. Prepare dressing, blending well.

1 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp cider vinegar
1/3 cup sugar

Pour dressing over the vegetable mixture, tossing to coat. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
