1 Cup of Sugar 1/3 Cup Margarine or Butter 2 Eggs 1 1/2 Cups of mashed ripe Bananas 1/3 Cup Water 1 2/3 Cups all purpose or self rising Flour 1 tsp of Baking Soda 1/2 tsp of Salt 1/4 tsp of Baking Powder 1/2 Cup chopped Nuts
Heat the oven to 350. Grease bottom only of loaf pan, 8.5x4.5x2.5 or 9x5x3 inches. Mix sugar and margarine in 2 1/4 quart bowl. Stir in eggs until blended. Add bananas and water. Heat for 30 seconds stir in remaining ingredients except nuts just until moistened. Stir in nuts. Pour into pan. Bake until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean (about 55 to 60 minutes). Loosen the sides of loaf pan and remove cool completely before cutting.
