1 large onion, thin sliced
1 (2-1/2 to 3) lb. chicken, cut up
2 (6oz) cans tomato paste
1 (4oz) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1-2 cloves garlic, minced
1-2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp basil
1 bay leaf

Directions:
Directions:
Place onion slices in bottom of crock pot. Add chicken pieces. Stir together tomato paste, mushrooms,salt,pepper,garlic, oregano, basil and bay leaf. Pour over chicken. Cover and cook on low 7-9 hours. (high: 3-4 hrs). Serve chicken over hot bettered spaghetti noodles.
