1 1/2 C. Soft Butter
1 egg, lightly beaten
3 1/2 C. flour
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1 C Firm brown sugar
1 1/2 Tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. ground cloves
Candied Cherry halves

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed till light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla and beat well. Combine flour and spices, gradually add to creamed mixture until blended.Make balls put on ungreased cookie sheet. Cherry half on top. Bake at 375 for 8 to 10 minutes
