3-4 lbs deer meat
1 large cabbage
3 medium onions
12 potatoes
3 cloves minced garlic
4 cans stewed tomatoes
6 cans sliced carrots
6 cans sliced mushrooms
2 cans V-8 juice
2 cans beer

In olive oil plus 4 cups water, boil deer meat till done. May have to drain several times till water is clear.
Dice cabbage, onions and potatoes; add to meat; add garlic. Boil 10-20 minutes till cabbage is done; add remaining ingredients; boil about another hour.
Mix corn starch and flour with some water and add to stew. Thicken to desired consistency.
Serve over rice with cornbread or crackers and jalapeņos.
