4 pieces of round steak
1 egg
1/2 cup milk or cream
1 long tube of Saltine cracker, crushed

Directions:
Directions:
Pound round steak of both sides. Cut out any gristle. Beat egg with fork and stir in cream. Dip steak pieces into mixture then into crushed cracker crumbs.
Fry in shortening until brown on both sides. Place on platter with paper towel.
