2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
4 eggs
1 c. sour milk (2 tbsp vinegar in with milk)
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. baking cocoa
2 tsp. soda
1 c. hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and shortening then add all ingredients while mixing-except water. Mix well then slowly add the hot water. Pour into a greased cake pan and bake at 375 for 30 min. Test with toothpick to see if done. Cool and frost.
