1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 c. buttermilk or sour milk
2 c. flour
1 t. soda
1 t. vanilla
1/2 t. salt
1/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. chopped rhubarb
1 t. cinnamon
Sauce: 1/2 c. cream
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 t. flour
1/2 c. butter
1 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients in order given, sprinkling sugar and cinnamon over cake. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes. Pour into a 9x13 pan. Boil sauce for 5 minutes and serve over cake.
